Window Cleaning in Florida City

Florida City is the last city before the Keys, where the Turnpike ends and US-1 heads south. Farms and nurseries surround it, and Everglades National Park is a short drive west.

Solpath provides window cleaning, pressure washing and commercial glass cleaning in Florida City, FL. Farm dust, truck traffic on US-1 and the Turnpike, and well-water irrigation are what land on the glass here, and the hotels and restaurants serving Keys traffic need their glass kept clean.

Why Florida City windows need regular cleaning

  • Farm and field dust

Plowed fields surround the city. In the dry season fine soil blows onto glass and screens, and the first rain sets it into a film.

  • Traffic to the Keys

Trucks and Keys traffic funnel through on US-1 and the end of the Turnpike. Road grit reaches homes and businesses near both.

  • Hotels and restaurants

Hotels, restaurants and gas stations serve people heading to the Keys and the Everglades. Their entrance glass sees constant traffic and needs cleaning on a schedule.

  • New homes on former farmland

Newer single-family and townhome communities have gone up where fields used to be. Construction dust and fresh irrigation both show on the new glass.

Questions

Window cleaning in Florida City

How often should windows be cleaned in South Florida?
For most South Florida homes, quarterly cleaning is a practical baseline. Homes near salt water, homes with sprinklers hitting the glass, heavy landscaping, or nearby construction usually look better on a monthly schedule. Twice a year still makes a visible difference on a home set back from the coast with no irrigation on the windows.
What areas do you serve?
Solpath serves Broward County and Miami-Dade County. In Broward: Coconut Creek, Cooper City, Coral Springs, Dania Beach, Davie, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Lighthouse Point, Margate, Miramar, North Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Pompano Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Southwest Ranches, Sunrise, Tamarac, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors. In Miami-Dade: Aventura, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Biscayne Park, Coral Gables, Cutler Bay, Doral, El Portal, Florida City, Golden Beach, Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Homestead, Key Biscayne, Miami, Miami Beach, Miami Gardens, Miami Lakes, Miami Shores, Miami Springs, North Bay Village, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Opa-locka, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, South Miami, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside, Sweetwater, Virginia Gardens and West Miami, plus Kendall, Westchester, Tamiami, The Hammocks and Fontainebleau. If you are just outside those areas, call and ask - we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
What happens if it rains right after my window cleaning?
Rain itself does not usually dirty a properly detailed window - dust and debris carried in the rain do. Our Monthly and Quarterly plans include RainBlock treatment, which is designed to help water bead and roll off the glass instead of sitting on it, so a storm is less likely to leave spotting behind.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
For exterior-only cleanings, no - as long as we can reach your windows with gates unlocked and pets secured, we can work while you are out. If your service includes interior windows, someone over 18 needs to be home to let us in.
How long does a window cleaning take?
Most homes take one to three hours depending on the number of windows, the number of stories, and how much detail work the screens and tracks need. We give you a time estimate with your quote so you can plan your day.
