Window Cleaning & Detailing in Cutler Bay

Cutler Bay is a suburban town in south Miami-Dade, with the mangrove edge of Biscayne Bay to the east. Much of its housing was rebuilt or built new after Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

Solpath provides window cleaning, pressure washing and soft washing in Cutler Bay, FL. Most homes are single-family houses from the 1990s onward with impact glass or shutters, so glass, window and shutter tracks, and driveways make up most of the work.

Why Cutler Bay windows need regular cleaning

  • Built back after Andrew

Andrew flattened much of this area in 1992, and what went up afterward was built to a tougher code. Many homes have impact windows or permanent shutters, and both need clear tracks to work properly.

  • Humid air off the mangroves

The eastern neighborhoods sit near the mangrove edge of the bay. Humidity keeps glass and screens damp, and shaded walls grow mildew.

  • Lake communities

Communities such as Lakes by the Bay are built around lakes. Glass on the lake side holds dust, and lake-water irrigation spots it.

  • US-1 and Southland Mall

Shops and offices along US-1 and around Southland Mall take road film from the busway and the highway. A recurring visit keeps it from building into a haze.

Questions

Window cleaning in Cutler Bay

How often should windows be cleaned in South Florida?
For most South Florida homes, quarterly cleaning is a practical baseline. Homes near salt water, homes with sprinklers hitting the glass, heavy landscaping, or nearby construction usually look better on a monthly schedule. Twice a year still makes a visible difference on a home set back from the coast with no irrigation on the windows.
What areas do you serve?
Solpath serves Broward County and Miami-Dade County. In Broward: Coconut Creek, Cooper City, Coral Springs, Dania Beach, Davie, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Lighthouse Point, Margate, Miramar, North Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Pompano Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Southwest Ranches, Sunrise, Tamarac, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors. In Miami-Dade: Aventura, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Biscayne Park, Coral Gables, Cutler Bay, Doral, El Portal, Florida City, Golden Beach, Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Homestead, Key Biscayne, Miami, Miami Beach, Miami Gardens, Miami Lakes, Miami Shores, Miami Springs, North Bay Village, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Opa-locka, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, South Miami, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside, Sweetwater, Virginia Gardens and West Miami, plus Kendall, Westchester, Tamiami, The Hammocks and Fontainebleau. If you are just outside those areas, call and ask - we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
What happens if it rains right after my window cleaning?
Rain itself does not usually dirty a properly detailed window - dust and debris carried in the rain do. Our Monthly and Quarterly plans include RainBlock treatment, which is designed to help water bead and roll off the glass instead of sitting on it, so a storm is less likely to leave spotting behind.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
For exterior-only cleanings, no - as long as we can reach your windows with gates unlocked and pets secured, we can work while you are out. If your service includes interior windows, someone over 18 needs to be home to let us in.
How long does a window cleaning take?
Most homes take one to three hours depending on the number of windows, the number of stories, and how much detail work the screens and tracks need. We give you a time estimate with your quote so you can plan your day.
