Window Cleaning & Detailing in Pinecrest

Pinecrest is a village of large lots, many close to an acre, with dense tropical planting, long driveways and big single-family homes set well back from the road.

Solpath provides window cleaning, pressure washing and soft washing in Pinecrest, FL. Large homes mean a lot of glass, long driveways and walls close to heavy planting, so rust staining from well-water sprinklers and mildew on shaded walls come up alongside the windows.

Local Conditions

Why Pinecrest windows need regular cleaning

  • Well-water irrigation

Big lawns usually run on a private well. The iron in that water stains walls, driveways and the lower glass orange wherever the sprinklers reach, and it needs a rust treatment rather than more pressure.

  • Planting against the house

Hedges, palms and trees planted close to the walls keep them shaded and damp. Mildew grows in the stucco texture, and window frames behind the planting stay grimy.

  • Walls of glass facing the pool

Newer and rebuilt homes here tend to have wide sliders and whole walls of glass facing the pool. Large panes show every streak, so the edges and corners are finished by hand.

  • Long, shaded driveways

Driveways here are long, often pavers or stamped concrete, and shaded by trees. Black growth and leaf staining come off with a surface cleaner, which gives an even finish instead of stripes.

Questions

Window cleaning in Pinecrest

Can you remove orange rust stains from sprinklers?
In most cases, yes. Rust stains from well-water sprinklers are treated with a rust remover made for concrete and masonry, then rinsed. Pressure alone does not remove them. They come back each time the sprinklers run until the heads are redirected or the water is treated.
How often should windows be cleaned in South Florida?
For most South Florida homes, quarterly cleaning is a practical baseline. Homes near salt water, homes with sprinklers hitting the glass, heavy landscaping, or nearby construction usually look better on a monthly schedule. Twice a year still makes a visible difference on a home set back from the coast with no irrigation on the windows.

What happens if it rains right after my window cleaning?
Rain itself does not usually dirty a properly detailed window - dust and debris carried in the rain do. Our Monthly and Quarterly plans include RainBlock treatment, which is designed to help water bead and roll off the glass instead of sitting on it, so a storm is less likely to leave spotting behind.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
For exterior-only cleanings, no - as long as we can reach your windows with gates unlocked and pets secured, we can work while you are out. If your service includes interior windows, someone over 18 needs to be home to let us in.
