Window Cleaning & Detailing in Hillsboro Beach

Hillsboro Beach is a thin strip of barrier island along A1A, with the Atlantic on one side, the Intracoastal on the other and the Hillsboro Inlet lighthouse at its southern tip. It is condos and large oceanfront estates, and little else.

Solpath provides window cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing and boat cleaning in Hillsboro Beach, FL. Every home here takes salt from two directions, so exterior glass needs frequent cleaning, and condo owners book the inside glass and balcony glass their association does not cover.

Local Conditions

Why Hillsboro Beach windows need regular cleaning

  • Spray from both shores

The island is narrow enough that the ocean side and the Intracoastal side both take spray. Glass that faces neither water still gets salt air.

  • Oceanfront estates

The large homes on the ocean side have walls of glass facing the beach. Big panes show salt haze sooner than small ones, and the frames and tracks need rinsing as often as the glass.

  • Condominiums along A1A

Most residents live in condo buildings. The association handles the facade, and an owner books the inside glass, the sliders and the balcony glass that can be reached from the balcony.

  • Boats near the inlet

Docks on the Intracoastal side sit close to the Hillsboro Inlet. Boats kept there go out through it and come back salted, and they need washing soon after.

Questions

Window cleaning in Hillsboro Beach

How often should windows be cleaned in South Florida?
For most South Florida homes, quarterly cleaning is a practical baseline. Homes near salt water, homes with sprinklers hitting the glass, heavy landscaping, or nearby construction usually look better on a monthly schedule. Twice a year still makes a visible difference on a home set back from the coast with no irrigation on the windows.
What areas do you serve?
Solpath serves Broward County and Miami-Dade County. In Broward: Coconut Creek, Cooper City, Coral Springs, Dania Beach, Davie, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Lighthouse Point, Margate, Miramar, North Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Pompano Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Southwest Ranches, Sunrise, Tamarac, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors. In Miami-Dade: Aventura, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Biscayne Park, Coral Gables, Cutler Bay, Doral, El Portal, Florida City, Golden Beach, Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Homestead, Key Biscayne, Miami, Miami Beach, Miami Gardens, Miami Lakes, Miami Shores, Miami Springs, North Bay Village, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Opa-locka, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, South Miami, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside, Sweetwater, Virginia Gardens and West Miami, plus Kendall, Westchester, Tamiami, The Hammocks and Fontainebleau. If you are just outside those areas, call and ask - we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
What happens if it rains right after my window cleaning?
Rain itself does not usually dirty a properly detailed window - dust and debris carried in the rain do. Our Monthly and Quarterly plans include RainBlock treatment, which is designed to help water bead and roll off the glass instead of sitting on it, so a storm is less likely to leave spotting behind.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
For exterior-only cleanings, no - as long as we can reach your windows with gates unlocked and pets secured, we can work while you are out. If your service includes interior windows, someone over 18 needs to be home to let us in.
How long does a window cleaning take?
Most homes take one to three hours depending on the number of windows, the number of stories, and how much detail work the screens and tracks need. We give you a time estimate with your quote so you can plan your day.
