Window Cleaning in Bay Harbor Islands

Bay Harbor Islands is two small islands in Biscayne Bay just west of Bal Harbour. The east island is mostly low-rise apartments and condos; the west island is single-family homes, many on the water.

Solpath provides window cleaning, pressure washing and boat cleaning in Bay Harbor Islands, FL. Everything here is surrounded by the bay, so salt film on the glass is constant, and the low-rise buildings mean most windows can be reached from outside.

Local Conditions

Why Bay Harbor Islands windows need regular cleaning

  • Bay on every side

Both islands sit in open bay water, and the wind reaches them from every direction. Salt film builds on the glass whichever way a window faces.

  • Low buildings on the east island

The apartment and condo buildings are low, so most of their windows are within ladder or pole reach where the association agrees to exterior work.

  • Waterfront homes on the west island

Many homes on the west island have a dock and a boat. Glass on the water side and the boat both need regular washing to stay ahead of the salt.

  • Kane Concourse

The shops, restaurants and offices along Kane Concourse take road film and bay salt on their street-level glass in about equal parts.

Questions

Window cleaning in Bay Harbor Islands

How often should windows be cleaned in South Florida?
For most South Florida homes, quarterly cleaning is a practical baseline. Homes near salt water, homes with sprinklers hitting the glass, heavy landscaping, or nearby construction usually look better on a monthly schedule. Twice a year still makes a visible difference on a home set back from the coast with no irrigation on the windows.
What areas do you serve?
Solpath serves Broward County and Miami-Dade County. In Broward: Coconut Creek, Cooper City, Coral Springs, Dania Beach, Davie, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Lighthouse Point, Margate, Miramar, North Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Pompano Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Southwest Ranches, Sunrise, Tamarac, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors. In Miami-Dade: Aventura, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Biscayne Park, Coral Gables, Cutler Bay, Doral, El Portal, Florida City, Golden Beach, Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Homestead, Key Biscayne, Miami, Miami Beach, Miami Gardens, Miami Lakes, Miami Shores, Miami Springs, North Bay Village, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Opa-locka, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, South Miami, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside, Sweetwater, Virginia Gardens and West Miami, plus Kendall, Westchester, Tamiami, The Hammocks and Fontainebleau. If you are just outside those areas, call and ask - we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
What happens if it rains right after my window cleaning?
Rain itself does not usually dirty a properly detailed window - dust and debris carried in the rain do. Our Monthly and Quarterly plans include RainBlock treatment, which is designed to help water bead and roll off the glass instead of sitting on it, so a storm is less likely to leave spotting behind.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
For exterior-only cleanings, no - as long as we can reach your windows with gates unlocked and pets secured, we can work while you are out. If your service includes interior windows, someone over 18 needs to be home to let us in.
How long does a window cleaning take?
Most homes take one to three hours depending on the number of windows, the number of stories, and how much detail work the screens and tracks need. We give you a time estimate with your quote so you can plan your day.
