Window Cleaning & Detailing in Miami Springs

Miami Springs was laid out in the 1920s by aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss, and many of its original homes are in the Pueblo Revival style. It sits right beside Miami International Airport, with a golf course and the Miami Canal along its edges.

Solpath provides window cleaning, pressure washing and soft washing in Miami Springs, FL. Being next to the airport means jet exhaust and grit dull the glass quickly, and the older homes need careful work around original frames and deep-set windows.

Why Miami Springs windows need regular cleaning

  • Next to the runways

Aircraft exhaust and airport grit settle on everything downwind of the airport. Glass here goes dull faster than a few miles away, and a hose only spreads the film around.

  • Pueblo Revival homes

The original homes have thick stucco walls, flat roofs and deep-set windows. Deep sills and recessed frames collect debris and are detailed by hand.

  • Golf course and canal edges

Homes along the golf course and the Miami Canal get irrigation overspray and damp air, and their glass spots and films sooner.

  • The Circle

Shops and offices around the Circle face the same airport film as the homes, and their street-level glass shows it sooner.

Questions

Window cleaning in Miami Springs

How often should windows be cleaned in South Florida?
For most South Florida homes, quarterly cleaning is a practical baseline. Homes near salt water, homes with sprinklers hitting the glass, heavy landscaping, or nearby construction usually look better on a monthly schedule. Twice a year still makes a visible difference on a home set back from the coast with no irrigation on the windows.
What areas do you serve?
Solpath serves Broward County and Miami-Dade County. In Broward: Coconut Creek, Cooper City, Coral Springs, Dania Beach, Davie, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Lighthouse Point, Margate, Miramar, North Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Pompano Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Southwest Ranches, Sunrise, Tamarac, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors. In Miami-Dade: Aventura, Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor Islands, Biscayne Park, Coral Gables, Cutler Bay, Doral, El Portal, Florida City, Golden Beach, Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Homestead, Key Biscayne, Miami, Miami Beach, Miami Gardens, Miami Lakes, Miami Shores, Miami Springs, North Bay Village, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Opa-locka, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, South Miami, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside, Sweetwater, Virginia Gardens and West Miami, plus Kendall, Westchester, Tamiami, The Hammocks and Fontainebleau. If you are just outside those areas, call and ask - we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
What happens if it rains right after my window cleaning?
Rain itself does not usually dirty a properly detailed window - dust and debris carried in the rain do. Our Monthly and Quarterly plans include RainBlock treatment, which is designed to help water bead and roll off the glass instead of sitting on it, so a storm is less likely to leave spotting behind.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
For exterior-only cleanings, no - as long as we can reach your windows with gates unlocked and pets secured, we can work while you are out. If your service includes interior windows, someone over 18 needs to be home to let us in.
How long does a window cleaning take?
Most homes take one to three hours depending on the number of windows, the number of stories, and how much detail work the screens and tracks need. We give you a time estimate with your quote so you can plan your day.
